Banzairaku has been brewing this plum wine since 1990, which combines a rich plum flavor with a clear mouthfeel. It is made using traditional, simple methods using only Benisashiume plums from the Hokuriku region, which are rich in amino acids and minerals. Everything from growing the plums to pickling and bottling is done in the favorable environment of the Hokuriku region, and this high-quality plum wine is aged for approximately two years until it is at its most delicious, with a well-balanced aroma and flavor.

Kaga Umeshu won the Alliance Gastronomy Award at the Kura Master Sake Competition 2023 held in France.
