 This plum wine is based on sake and has an alcohol content of 30%, making it a fairly strong drink. Because of its high alcohol content, it can be enjoyed on the rocks with plenty of ice or mixed with soda, and still has a strong flavor. In colder months, we recommend mixing it with hot water. It contains less sugar, so it doesn't have the cloying sweetness that is typical of plum wine. This liqueur is a must-try for those who like plum wine, and even those who don't like sweet things. It is made using Inatsumi Ume, a native plum variety of Toyama Prefecture.
